Thai Airways’ Seat Sale for Spring. From now till October 5, you can buy really cheap tickets from the Thai flag carrier, for flights departing select Australian cities until December 14. Limited economy-class seats from Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Brisbane will be sold, starting with return flights to Bangkok starting at $560.
Other discounted destinations include Chiang Mai, Krabi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Phnom Penh, and Yangon.
Jetstar Asia Flies Abroad. The Vietnam-based budget carrier will begin daily flights to Bangkok and Siem Reap from November 3. These flights will be sold together with Jetstar’s JetSaver promotion, allowing customers to pay a lower fare in exchange for a 7kg maximum luggage allowance!
Singapore Airlines slashes surcharges. The Singapore air carrier is reducing fuel surcharges just a tick for its short- and medium-haul flights. Travelers to Southeast Asian cities will see reduced fees beginning September 9, from $40 to $36. Hey, that’s the price of a really good laksa at an average Singapore hawker center!
