You could spend your whole Bali vacation without leaving the southern part of the island. After all, the Bali airport straddles Kuta, the bulk of Bali's hotels and resorts are located south of the airport, and as our list of 10 Things to Do in South Bali will show you, you could fill up your Bali bucket list within the bounds of South Bali alone.
Of course, you'd be missing out on all the stuff you can do in Ubud a couple of hours' drive away to the north, and if you're a diver, you're sheer out of luck; the diving action is mostly in East Bali.
