Selfies from the Citadel: Hue in Vietnam to Get Free WiFi for Six Months.

Now you can be the envy of all your friends on Instagram even as you tour the Hue Citadel or the Royal Tombs; you can upload all your tourist snaps on the go thanks to a new initiative equipping Hue, Central Vietnam's major tourist destinations with free WiFi, starting on September 22. But it's free only for six months:

"During the six-month trial, tourists and local residents will be offered free access to public services and free travel information," [says Vietnam Post and Telecommunications director Duong Tuan Anh.] After that, VNPT will set prices for value-added services, and customers will be charged through a card they will need to purchase to access the internet.
