The Nusa Dua hotels and resorts featured here are clustered around a government-created tourist enclave in the south of Bali. Nusa Dua is a somewhat Disneyfied verion of Bali, a manicured compound dotted with golf courses and luxury resorts along the coast facing the Indian Ocean. Courtyard by Marriott Bali
The 900th property in the Courtyard by Marriott portfolio, the Courtyard by Marriott Bali offers 250 guestrooms located in a manicured garden compound in the exclusive Bali enclave of Nusa Dua. Guests get a choice of garden and pool views; guestrooms have high-speed Internet, flat-screen TVs, bathroom en suite with rainshowers, and artwork by noted Balinese artist I Gede Putra Udiyana.
The beach is a ten-minute walk away, but the Courtyard compensates for the distance with a variety of watersports activities. Other amenities include a fully-equipped gym, C Spa, and a Kid's Club. The Courtyard's dining options include the MoMo Café and the Beach Club, set on Nusa Dua's beach itself.

Nikko Bali Hotel
Nikko Bali Resort and Spa sits on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. The Nikko’s 390 guestrooms are impeccably furnished, with hardwood floors and luxurious bath facilities. Get an ocean view room for a balcony view overlooking the sea.
If the hotel has one weakness, it’s the distance from the area’s stores and restaurants. This can be especially troublesome if you’re not willing to fork over the dough for the Nikko’s pricey buffet dinners! Not to worry, you can hire a cab to Nusa Dua for $3; a trip to Kuta costs $7.

The Bale
Guests can choose from 29 roomy Balinese pavilions overlooking the Indian Ocean, each with its own pool and private garden. Guests are assigned a butler to look after their needs throughout the duration of their stay.
If you want to see the rest of the resort outside your private pavilion, you can get a massage at the Bale Spa, or enjoy dinner at the in-house Faces restaurant. Other services include a sauna, gym, library, conference facilities, and a boutique.
The resort is suited for honeymoons and romantic getaways, so don't expect to do much socializing with other guests. But why would you even want to?

Inna Putri Bali
If you don't mind staying in a rather dated resort complex, the Inna Putri Bali can offer you excellent value for money. The resort's 384 rooms offer most of the creature comforts you'd expect in more expensive settings: a café, pharmacy, post office, conference facilities, and your choice of three in-house restaurants are all at the guest's disposal.
The Inna Putri Bali is less than a ten-minute walk away from the village, where you can get cheaper meals and other services. The resort is right next to the beach, although the view from the rooms may be obstructed by the palm trees that line the shore.
