Bak Kwa - One Treat, Many Varieties

Bak kwa is a popular Chinese New Year treat, sold in restaurants and hawker stalls alike. Lingzie explains that its success has spawned new varieties of this roast park dish: "Many varieties of bak kwa are currently available including chili bak kwa, pepper bak kwa, 'gourmet bak kwa' (which looks like streaky bacon) and even bak kwa with cheese!"
